When a child enters a room, it’s as if the atmosphere itself shifts. It isn’t about the size of the child or the room— it’s about the pure unfiltered spirit of youth.

I recall on day at my gym—filled with the familiar scent of sweat and the metallic shine of weight, barbells, and machinery— when the ambience, after a particularly intense session suddenly changed. Heavy with focus and spewing with seriousness, the hour ended on a high note, when a four-year-old named Matilda waltzed in.
