The beauty in enjoying peaceful anonymity.

In the shadows of another city, separate from my routines and the communities I’ve come to know, the world feels much larger and indifferent to who I am.

Existing anonymously in the shelter of another city, foreign to my home base, I feel liberated from the need to justify myself. As an undisruptive visitor to a city I don’t call home, those are the times when I always feel most free just to be.

I enjoy being a bystander in a city I am not familiar with. Observing each novelty with fresh eyes, I am left to simply absorb life’s simple pleasures as the locals pass me by.
