One of the more fascinating things I keep noticing about life is how strangely interconnected, and small, the world can often feel.
That no matter the physical distance and space, of how vast the globe we live on actually is, there’s this recurring sense of nearness, especially when you bump into someone you know on an unassuming city walk, at a random restaurant, at an unexpected corner of a different continent altogether.
The novelty of the experience, of making you feel both a stranger and a friend is what’s been on my mind this week. As we move into the middle of the year, I’m reminded of my word for the year: intension.
The sense that, no matter what you do or how you do it, every expression of you is ultimately shaped by the underlying intent. Even the most polished executions sprout there, in those quieter interiors, of those subjective inner directives.
