On Creativity: Experimentations
Does creativity always need to have a point?
The other day I found myself feeling restless. As I sat down, trying to write, I felt nothing I wrote made any sense.
With frustrations arising, each minute felt more manic, like pulling hair out of my own head trying to articulate the jumble of thoughts and feelings I’ve been having.
There’s so much going on in the world.
I don’t have to look at the news to hear about it everywhere. I tried to sit and write something worthwhile, but to no avail. It happens.
I then instead started to distract myself, with random passages from different books across different chapters I jumped into, hoping to spark something in me to create something worthwhile for you.
Then, I went back to sit in front of the screen and was compelled to create this mini series of images.
What do each and all mean? I have no idea to be honest, but this is what I ended up creating that day.
