in the spirit of this newsletter,
and everything I want to create,
how I wish to serve,
and all that I hope for you,
the values I uphold: add value, pay it forward, and spread joy—
mirroring the mantras I often say:
neuroplasticity,
a growth mindset, an experimental mindset,
playfulness, and childlike wonder,…
I stopped having fun.
That’s what’s hit me. As a one-woman show, I fall into deep rabbit holes of my own thinking and lately, I’ve been in a creative rut. The things I was making felt a little lifeless (also why the Instagram page has been a little quiet).
The systems I’d built for convenience started choking my spark. The routines that made things efficient also made creating feel stale: the metrics, the scheduling, the optimizations, the fixation on staying “on-brand.” All too stifling, again. I’ve been here.
Then came a nudge from the universe (I seem to be getting a lot of these lately). I was reminded of something I wrote last year
