BMBS is the new BDSM.
Exploring the Pillars to Your Highest Self.
What you’re about to read is likely not what you might think it is. Sorry!
It’s not physical binds, leather, or whips we are diving into here. We’re instead exploring the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual bonds that keep us truly bound to ourselves.
Submission to our Brain, Mind, Body, and Soul (BMBS) is the path that can transform our entire experience of life and how we connect with the world.
If BDSM explores the limits of physical sensation, power, and pleasure, BMBS is the frontier of pleasure that pushes us to examine the depths of our innate powers. BMBS is about true self-mastery; it asks: what does it mean to become the true master of ourselves?
I want to return to the foundational focus of my explorations—to revel in the life-changing forces of nurturing our brain, mind, body, and soul. My motivation is a hunger to feel the heights of my potential.
Like the sensations of fear and accomplishment that courses through my veins through a challenging mountain hike, traversing our inner world means facing countless obstacles on the path to uncovering our best and authentic selves. This is the endeavour that ignites my curiosity most.
The promise is this: there are boundless unexplored heights to ourselves that’s always waiting to be explored within us.
If we remain curious and steadfast in our optimism—daring to love, trust, and listen to ourselves more—leaning into intuition, looking within rather than merely outside ourselves—greater abundance in all areas of our lives will follow.
I am not referring to material wealth, though that may follow; I am focused on excavating our internal wisdom. What does it feel like to truly listen to myself? To trust my instincts wholeheartedly without doubt? To exist as my most authentic self, without shame, guilt, or distrust?
All of this to serve a purpose beyond myself—to contribute and create from inspiration, not lack; to exist as my highest expression is the dream. That’s the life I yearn to live most.
To flourish is never accidental—it requires proactive self-attention.
BMBS! Caring for our brain, mind, body, and soul demands intentional action, proactive shifts, and genuine nurture.
Year after year, I lean into my curiosities, absorbing the wisdom the world offers. I marvel at how magnificent life becomes when I first nurture self-love and compassion. This constant elevation—feeling better and better about myself, in my own skin, as my truest self, daring to dream ever-increasingly greater dreams—is what’s captivating my imagination and keeping me moving forward.
This isn’t about pursuing perfection, but exploring the heights of possibility and potential. I am an idealist. I am an optimist. I am not striving to prove my worth—I am elevating purely from a place of curiosity.
Part of the thrill is discovering where I’ll land, as I’d rather keep reaching than to fail from never trying. Even in the face of inevitable chaos, triumphs thrives in the attempts—the results are the cherry on top. When I take my final breath, I hope to have a great big smile at the life I dared to live. What’s your vision for yourself and your future?
