A Few of My Favourite Things: Wellness Edition
Wellness finds for the health conscious and gym darlings in your life.
It’s been a joy collating some of my favourite things for you this year. This edition especially speaks to the heart, reflecting the core values Happy Hue hopes to evoke, here’s a list of some of my favourite wellness things. While there’s an ever-growing list of goodies to recommend, I am excited to share this curated list of gems and wellness discoveries waiting to dazzle the wellness darlings in your life.
Anyone familiar with fitness spaces knows the name Concept 2, renowned for their superior flywheel mechanism. While their rowers set industry standards, their SkiErg revolutionised the fitness world globally. Their latest StrengthErg maintains a unique innovative design while offering a low risk strength machine that you can expect to see in fitness facilities everywhere soon. So, why not get ahead of the trend and surprise that loved one at home instead.
The Oura Ring has become synonymous with seamless lifestyle health tracking. Now in its fourth generation and its lowest prices ever, it’s an ideal gift that keeps on giving. From professional athletes to everyday enthusiasts, its a remarkable piece of Finnish technology that provides invaluable health data, from the ease of a stylish ring. Having used one religiously myself, I particularly appreciate the insight that my cardio capacity competes with someone seven years my junior. (I am totally bragging, by the way).
A rhythmic massage gun is an essential recovery tool that every active person should own. Theragun’s Getaway Collection, featuring their mini model, makes this innovation more accessible than ever. The device effectively reduces muscle soreness, releases tension, improves recovery time, and enhances mobility—all while being compact enough for travel. Available in six colours, it’s the perfect gift for the fitness freaks in your life. Speaking from experience, these aren’t just gimmicks (though I own a different pair), they work wonders and this travel size is perfect. The Therabody RecoveryAir PRO compression system and TheraMask I was gifted have also proven to be excellent recovery companions at home.
Not everyone can own a sauna at home or has easy access to one, but the Hydragun HeatPod Sauna Blanket solves this dilemma. Best of all, you can doze off while lying down, unlike in a traditional sauna session. While I don’t own one—yet—it’s definitely on my Santa list this year.
For those in your life interested in elevating their health, one of the simplest paths to better nutrition is juicing fresh vegetables and juices. In my experience, nothing makes juicing easier than Hurom’s range of juicers. The Huron Easy, sitting on my kitchen counter, has made fresh veggie juices an accessible and blissful daily staple.
With all the sweat and stench from workouts, what could be better than a waterproof gym bag? RAINS, the premium waterproof bag brand, has designed a range especially for the gym buff in your life—best of all, they’re stylish too. The Nyssa Puffer Duffel Bag and the Hilo Weekend Bag Spray are my favourites from the range, because who wants a boring gym bag?
An inexpensive way to show love and care is gifting a houseplant that doubles as natural air filtration. Snake plants are known to remove toxic pollutants, creating better air quality at home. Why not pick out an elegant pot to host nature’s own air purifier?

There are a million ways to feel better, but few places in the global hospitality industry offer something as unique and diverse as Potato Head in Seminyak, Bali, Indonesia. For the wellness warriors in your corner, they offer a range of well-being experiences: from Energy Balance Sessions, to a Run Programme, Light Sound Vibration sessions, Qi Gong, to Breathwork, Hypnotherapy, and Traditional Balinese Healing. There’s a literal menu of wellness experiences to indulge in, making it the perfect gift of a lifetime. Having experienced their PHAT Tuesdays and Light Sound Vibration sessions myself, both are electrifying experiences I am eager to return to soon.
On the topic of healing and well-being, few experiences are as otherworldly as those at Pyramids of Chi. Located in the heart of Ubud’s jungles in Bali, Indonesia, they pioneer innovative approaches to world-class sound healing. The two towering pyramids house a temple of technology and invention that’ll dazzle any curious wellness enthusiast. I’ve done the Light Sound Vibration session there—all I can say is, it’s truly a one of kind experience, from the moment you walk in, that I am happy to revisit.
