Though I’m neither American nor in the US, it’s a reminder of time—hasn’t this year flown by? Maybe it’s the post-Covid residue—those slow, still pandemic days making proceeding years feel increasingly fast. Does anyone else feel this?

Music. Album. Jamie XX: In Waves. If you’re into dance music, of the British kind— UK bass, grime, house, and soulful vocalists—you need to make this part of your immediate listening! It makes me smile every time, as it’s one of my favourite dance albums—ever!

I was dancing so much, at his recent gig, I failed to take any pictures. It was purely an auditory and physical experience. Also, honestly, showing you a picture of a DJ behind decks, live mixing at a warehouse isn’t that interesting to look at anyways. But I will share three incredible tracks he dropped that night, that had me jumping, gasping, and frantically Shazaming. Enjoy!
